If you feel led to support us than please click the link above and choose the fund for Kerron and Nikita Edwards. We are excited for 2024 and trust God to use us once more again. Please pray for Trinidad and Tobago. Right now the murder rates among young people and killings between gangs is just crazy and truly saddening. We need a breakthrough from God to intervene in this generation.
Happy New Year from us to you and a Sabbatical announcement
It has been two weeks since Kerron and I located to Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹 . We just spent our first Christmas 🎄 together, our first time being together without having to say goodbye again, and the first time for me taking a sabbatical after 10 years of full-time ministry. It is truly a season of new beginnings and transition in so many ways. We are taking time to be still as we desire God to order our steps for our marriage and ministry aspirations unto God.
What's Next?
Next is a pause from ministry for me. A time of being still and seeking the Lord for this new chapter in life that I have embarked on. I am excited, anxious, thrilled, amazed all at once. Walking by faith for God to provide in all needs during the sabbatical. Expecting God to order our steps as a married couple and to lead the way in the new aspirations for ministry that we anticipate for the future.
But first I will be disconnecting January 1- March 30 from all social media platforms, casual, formal and informal contact and will learn to enjoy the gift of stillness by embarking on my sabbatical and spiritual retreat through fasting, prayer, resting, reading and to grow closer and intimate in my relationship with Christ.

“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ.”1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
We just finished up an exhausting, yet tremendously fruitful month of ministry in Central America. We kicked it off in Mexico and then headed down to El Salvador. From there we ministered for two weeks in Guatemala and have just finished the final leg of the tour with our biggest outreach concerts yet in Belize. We have been on the road for a month straight!
This trip came with a lot of challenges, more than usual: From constant delays, to some getting sick again, to 3 cars breaking down that we used for transportation in Guatemala, to finding out the Christafari ministry vehicle in California was stolen from the driveway, plus our keyboard player falling off a jeep and spending a night in the hospital. Yes, all of that in this entire month!
But God reminds us in His word to consider it "pure joy" when we go through trials as James 1:2 says.
It’s even harder to give thanks to God for everything that comes our way - especially when many of those things are unexpected, unwelcome, and worst of all, completely out of our control!
We have so much to give thanks for; from the breath in our lungs, to our health, to our family, for the Word of God, the Holy Spirit dwelling inside us, and the Gospel that transforms lives and saves souls. And that’s why we’re doing this. That’s why we endure tremendous hardships for the sake of the Good News. Because at the end of it all, it’s so worth it.
I wish you and your family a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend!
With Love,
Nikita Edwards
