How are you doing today? I just spent a week in Nevada and Arizona. Our ministry Christafari started with an awesome Easter concert at Calvary Chapel Lone Mountain in Las Vegas, followed by an amazing time in Whiteriver, Arizona at an Indian Reservation and then we closed our week of ministry with two morning services and a night concert at Calvary Chapel Redemption Hill in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. God used us in a mighty way! See some of the highlights of our outreach.
Disclaimer: If you read this blog all the way to the end there will also be some alarming bad news in regards to what happened to our ministry this weekend.
What a way to celebrate Resurrection Sunday with a big concert. We thank Jesus for seeing hands raised and seeing people worship together at Calvary Chapel, Lone Mountain in Las Vegas.
The youth and adults of the Indian Reservation in Whiteriver, Arizona were truly so much fun to minister to, connect and fellowship with. The hospitality and kindness was above and beyond. We can't wait to return. Please pray for the youth so that they will go all in with living for Jesus Christ and to not let the ways of the world influence them.
After the show in Whiteriver, Arizona, it was such a blessing to connect with the children and amazing children's pastor Millie! Her and I are the same age and passionately get to serve the Lord in our calling in ministry. Please pray for this amazing community of believers that they will remain steadfast and in unity.
BAD NEWS WE ENDURED THIS TRIP
Meet Jason Hinson, he is our new sound engineer and loves Jesus Christ wholeheartedly. He has moved all his belongings by car recently from Nashville, TN to California to join our ministry as a missionary. This past weekend he fell extremely sick after a heatstroke and was plagued with symptoms such as nausea, stomach issues, fever and dehydration. Today he is doing much better and we are thankful for everyone that prayed for him while we were on the road.
During our travel day back from Arizona to California we received a sudden phone call from our team mate with the bad news that the tire of the trailer containing all sound and stage equipment had completely blown out.
This all happened while some of our team mates were at the Abandoned Waterpark near Barstow, California filming a new music video for a song called Stepping outta Babylon!
Now I wish I could say that this was the only bad news we got in that hour that day, but it quickly became clear that satan was devising his tactics of stealing, killing and destroying against the ministry of Christafari.
While some of us were filming the new music video, Iris our nanny and dancer took a moment to head to our minivan to grab something out of the vehicle, only to find two windows broken into along with our hard drive stolen (which had all our previous video footage) and other miscellaneous items missing.
As you can see Friend it has been a crazy last day of our trip.
One thing is for sure, satan doesn't like what we're doing and last night he tried to delay, steal and destroy our things for ministry purposes. But we can be assured that Jesus Christ is still on the throne and this too shall pass. Most importantly none of us have been harmed and all material things that we lost are replaceable.
We are not threatened by satan, for we stand upon the promises of God's word, our sword.
As you pray for us consider to pray for this Under God tour through 50 states that we are doing till December by car.
Deuteronomy 20:4
"For the LORD your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.”
Romans 16:20
The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
James 1:2-4
"Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything."
Romans 8:31-32
"What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?"
Thank you so much for your prayers and support, I truly appreciate it.
