How are you coping with everything that is going on?
I can't believe that we literally are half way done with the year 2020 and that in less than 5 months we are walking into 2021. This year is a year we all will continue to talk about, even after it passes. How every nation faced the same health issue with COVID 19, economy issues and how everyone's plans were redirected. But I also think you will find that we are so much more resilient, stronger, creative, and adaptable, when we rely for hope and strength in Jesus Christ. Some parents and children learned the art of homeschooling. Some business owners learned how to create new avenues of keeping business afloat. Celebrating birthdays and weddings weren't put on pause, but had to be revamped with extra imagination.
How has ministry looked for me as a full time missionary during COVID19?
The last few months have pushed all of us to become more creative than ever. The vision and mission that God gave us: "To reach the lost at any cost and to make disciples of all nations" will always continue whether we stay or go.
Despite travel bans Christafari has been able to still reach the nations through our podcasting, music videos and our 40 free masterclasses.
Plus the last couple of weeks have been filled with international online ministry opportunities with Honduras, Guatemala, and Argentina.
Another great new ministry that I have recently picked up is pouring weekly into the lives of the kids of my friends. Meet Ziza, Livity, and Yerusalem. We love learning about Jesus together, as well pray for each other and on top of that they teach me so much through their childlike faith. Pray that the Holy Spirit continues to show me how to be a godly spiritual influence in their lives through our time we spent with each other and to continue to guide them in their walk with God.
We fed 120 families in Kibera, the largest slum of Africa. Thanks to our friends from Tunedem band (Kenyan gospel reggae band) We are so grateful for fellow musicianaries who share the same vision and mission with us.
We fed 180 families from the remote Maasai tribe in rural Kenya. Though we were not able to physically go this year, we were able to sow financially so that Tunedem Band could go.
1.8M views on YouTube each month as we spread the certain hope of Jesus to people in every country in the world through videos, virtual concerts, podcasts, and online Messages
We provided discipleship training to over 4,000 future missionaries through our free Ascend Masterclasses during the month of June. Plus we are planning for another Ascend Month of classes in the near future.
As Pastor Mark would say: "There’s nothing more important we can do together than to help other people see God as He really is and help them understand the depth of God’s love and grace for them. There’s nothing like seeing them grow in their faith and ultimately go into the nations. It’s your support of Christafari that helps this continue to happen on a daily basis."
Thank you kindly, may the good Lord Bless you and Keep you!
