Nikita on mission trip to Honduras

Vol. 2 Issue 12- January 2015

Greetings from home in Amsterdam, The Netherlands! The return back home after 4 years has been wonderful and was very much needed. The year is only one month old and God has already presented new opportunities to serve Him, to grow and to be stretched in faith. To be exact, a missions trip together with ministry Christafari in April 2015. On return to the USA I look forward to share all the details as I will be fundraising $2000 for my trip to Honduras in April.

The primary goal of the trip is to reach the lost and bring hope to the hopeless through the talents and testimonies that God has given each of the team members. Besides the ministry concerts with Christafari, I will do street evangelism, compassionate ministries (feeding programs, working with at-risk youth, etc…), and possibly some light work like painting or cleaning.

Mission Cost

Cost: $2,000 per person. This cost covers all lodging, ground and sea transportation, all food and my departure tax.

Dates: April 9-April 21
Cities: Tegucigalpa, San Pedro Sula, Siguatepeque, Tela, La Ceiba and Roatan
Deadline: March 6, 2015

My prayers go out to  you especially

Missionary Highlights

Vol. 2 Issue 11

Dear Friend,

Excitement. Awe. Those are the feelings I have when I think about all of the great things that have happened in my life as a missionary for the last two years at Crossover Church.

I am excited about new developments that are impacting the Crossover Church congregation and the surrounding impoverished community of Suitcase City in Tampa, FL as we partner with civic organizations to improve the lives of our neighbors.

How has being a missionary impacted my life?
I am growing as a believer in Christ. I trust God more than ever with my life. I am building an immense faith that He is able to provide for me as He has called me towards being a full-time missionary.

As I build relationships with people and pray for them, I am able to see how their lives are impacted and changed. It is an honor to be a witness for God and to witness the power of Jesus Christ in people’s lives as they experience restoration, redemption, and purpose in Him.

What am I grateful for?
I am grateful that God has kept me for this long in the mission field. I also appreciate the friendships and relationships I have made with many people who care so much for me and others. I am even grateful for the moments of struggle when I have doubts about what I am doing. I know that those struggles have increased my faith in His plan for me. It has been a great journey and I am looking forward to another year!

Happy Holidays and have a Happy New Year!

Blessings,

Nikita Carter
