L.I.F.E

Vol. 2 Issue 10 -November 2014

Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Holidays
I am so happy to know
that the holidays are here. It gets colder even in Sunshine State Florida and the Christmas decorations are already up. The season of celebrating Jesus Christ more than ever has definitely arrived.

I wish you many blessings, may you be surrounded by those you love, but mostly may you know the love of God and the freedom that is found in His son Jesus Christ.

A year ago around this same time I shared the news that I was approved by immigration to be here for 2,5 years as a missionary while serving full-time the community of Crossover Church and Suitcase City. Things have been going well, I have been exposed to many new things in leadership, and I have seen lives being impacted by those that got invested at Crossover Church. God’s touch is phenomenal truly.

I simply call it L.I.F.E. (Living In Faith Everyday) a mindset I chose to take as I understood that God’s miracles are only possible by faith

Challenge of the month:
Lastly, I like to invite you to live a life intentionally for Jesus Christ. One that is limitless and meaningful. To live your life in faith, and not in fear. I can speak from experience that living by faith has been the greatest choice I have made since I became a missionary. The journey comes with sacrifice, obedience and even challenges. Yet, it has been the best path of life truly.

Spiritual Check-Up

Vol. 2 Issue 9-October

What’s going on family and friends? I hope you look forward to the holiday season that is almost around the corner. Can you believe it that we are literally 8 weeks away from entering into the year 2015. I personally can’t believe how quick this year went. Usually around this time is when I start to reflect and ask myself a couple of questions to evaluate. I ask myself, what did I do this year that was significant? Who did I encounter, that made a difference in my life? How have I grown spiritually in my walk with God? What will I continue next year and what will I do different the next year? Questions, questions, questions! Indeed, I wonder about a lot of things, but I consider them good things that help me stay on a good track.

Something I always say is the following: We take the time hopefully to get our physical health checks, so why not do a spiritual health check to see if you are doing well or if you need to feed yourself more. There is always opportunity to grow into a better man or woman of God.
Here at crossover church there are constantly different opportunities presented to the congregation that will help you take part in and build relationships over fellowship, while you take initiative to invest in your spiritual growth. Most of the times the events are FREE at Crossover Church and the major events such as conferences that cost money are affordable.

There are three things I like to give you as you start reflecting on your spiritual health: Your Time, Talent and your Treasure.
1. What have I done with my time in 2014? Did I spent it well or did I waste it?
2. Did I use my talents and gifts for God in service?
3. Have I given my treasures first to God and then everything else? Or the other way around?

In closing, stay well and if you are led to support me financially please support now at the support link, as I will be grateful for your gift.

And I am sure of this, that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.

Born For This- Flavor Fest

Vol. 2 Issue 8-September 2014

Who knows if perhaps you were made queen for just such a time as this?
— Esther 4:14

The story of Esther reminds me of one woman who was brave and courageous to do what God had called her to do, for her time. It shows how her obedience to God resulted in the deliverance and relief for the Jews, her people.
God is very real and clear about what He has for us:
For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. (Jeremiah 29:11)

So many of us are familiar with the word of God, and some of us are still learning. Wherever you are, know this: If I just have all this knowledge, but don’t believe in it or apply it to my life, then it doesn’t even make a difference in my life. It all starts with faith, and we have to know and expect great thinks for our future if we say we want to walk with God and follow Jesus Christ.

In conclusion, I hope you always choose to exchange your plans for God’s plans.
