Tampa Missionary meets Texas

I just completed a full week of hosting 15 students and leaders from Stonegate Fellowship Church from Midland, TX. Young teenagers and incredible leaders who sacrificed their time, talents, and efforts during Spring Break to serve the people of Tampa FL. on a 5 day mission trip. It is during these moments that I am fulfilling the hearts desire of a missionary. Which is being out in the field working with whom ever God is placing alongside with you and sharing Christ through actions and words with all we come in contact with. God is truly good!

Throughout the entire week we ministered the people of Metropolitan Ministries where the focus is on alleviating suffering, promote dignity, and instill self-sufficiency through the programs available for families who are homeless and in poverty.
and at Trinity Cafe whose mission is to restore a sense of dignity to the homeless and hungry while serving a nutritious meal. On top of that we ministered to innercity kids at the Dream Center and the youth from Midland TX, shared their testimonies to the youth of Crossover Church. God is working here in Tampa FL, we simply have to become aware of it and trust his timing for breakthrough for the many lives that we pray for.

2016 Newest Update

A Joyous hello!

The new year is fresh and young and I am learning to reset is not just one time at the beginning of the year, but it is a daily action step to acknowledge Jesus Christ daily in the everyday activities. From the moment we wake up and choose to start with Him, through prayer, worship, meditating on His word while we drive, while at work, before we make decisions, how we choose to respond during our communication with others and putting God's way over our ways are all essential to our day to day moments.

Before I share what I have coming up as a missionary, I like to share something I was blessed to receive during a visit at a church I got to visit this past week. The sermon was called: The Secret to a Happy New Year in 2016

1. Reset your life to please God and you will find the secret to joy and happiness.
2. Put God first (Matthew 6:33)
3. Obey God's Word (John 15:10-11)
4. Fear God (Ecclesiastes 12:13)
5. Have faith in God (Hebrews 11:5-6)

Be encouraged and may 2016 be the year of love, abundance, blessings, wisdom and inspiration.

If you are in Tampa, where I serve as a missionary, I love to see you at my fundraiser events in partnership with Dance World Studio. #supportmissionaries #generous2016

For God is not unjust. He will not forget how hard you have worked for him and how you have shown your love to him by caring for other believers,[a] as you still do.
