I hope this update from the mission field finds you well and that through my words you will know that we can always remain connected through the power of prayer and in the way we choose to sow where God calls you to sow. God is so BIG and truly amazing. See, I need God every moment. His hope is the nourishment to my soul and He keeps me going.
Kenya is a land filled with beauty, where the people have welcomed me with smiles. The last 21 days have been impactful, transforming and even though I am exhausted physically and adjusting from jet lag and fighting a cold, I am truly grateful for what my eyes witnessed. I am in awe to what my ears heard, and what God revealed to me as He reminded me of the rhythm of his heartbeat. Which is to serve one another in love, now that we know what it means to have freedom. (Galatians 5:13)
Serving at Happy Life Children's Home
"I will not leave you as orphans, I will come to you"- John 14:18
Our service here existed of praise, worship, fellowship, and supplying each child gift bags filled with school items and snacks. If you support my work, please know you have made an impact on many with your prayers and with sending me on this mission.
Here we served my sisters and brothers who live in the largest urban slum of Africa called Kibera. We were able to provide clothing, and tangible neccesisties, but most importantly we came to share the hope of Jesus Christ and to encourage through prayer and through works.
“I needed clothes and you clothed me”
Ephesians 6:18 MSG
" In the same way, prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare. Pray hard and long. Pray for your brothers and sisters. Keep your eyes open. Keep each other's spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out."
Honored to have served alongside the Maasai Tribe in Oloitokok, Kenya where we were taken into their community for 2 days as we ministered through gospel reggae music. Best part was to experience the simplicity of living and the fellowship with fellow Christian brothers and sisters. They gave me my Maasai name which was: Nashipai, which means joyful!
So I am still honestly progressing the things I saw, heard and experienced and I know for sure one thing, Kenya made more an impacted on me, my spiritual walk than I could have made on Kenya. Jesus is working and He is present truly. My goal is to live for Him, to show Him and make Him known to YOU, my family, my friends and everyone I come in contact with.
I love you and I believe that He wants to do something in you today!
